Ready? Ready!

WOC 2019 is going to start in 3 days with the Middle Qualification on Tuesday. The first World Champs on Elite level for me. Fun fact: also my first Junior World Champs were in Norway, 2015 in Rauland. I remember it as a very nice event with many great experiences. I'm expecting the next week to be as emotional, fun and memorable as that week back then. I also remember the first WOC where I was running the spectator races, spending holidays with my family and watching my idols fighting for medals. It was WOC 2010 in Trondheim, so also in Norway. Back then I was so afraid of orienteering in the big norwegian forests, that I felt sick the whole week. But as soon as I stood at the start line, I could enjoy it and the big norwegian forests with the huge marshes even became my favourite terrain. Now the nervousness replaced the fear and I am looking forward to fight as hard as I can, so that I can cross the finish line of my first WOC with a smile on my face. 3 days to go...
